Cayman Private Drivers — Website Design Case Study

The challenge

Grand Cayman has no Uber or Lyft and taxis don't run on meters, so visitors landing at Owen Roberts International Airport or stepping off a cruise ship want a fixed price and a driver they can trust before they arrive. AA Transportation needed a site that shows its fleet, its eight services and where it drives, and turns a search for an airport transfer or private driver in Grand Cayman into a quote request.

What we did

• Designed and built a custom Next.js website at caymanprivatedrivers.com, not a page-builder template, so pages load quickly on phones
• Laid out eight services: airport transfers, cruise port transfers, island tours, private driver hire, corporate, dinner and event, VIP chauffeur, wedding and group transport
• Built a fleet section (Chevrolet Suburban, Toyota Voxy, Toyota Hiace) and a Grand Cayman destinations map with drive times from the airport
• Added a short quote form for a fixed price by email, plus phone and WhatsApp, with a three-step "no app to download" booking path
• Wrote Grand Cayman travel guides and an FAQ (Uber and Lyft in Cayman, rental car vs private driver) and set up titles and descriptions for local search

The results

The site is live at caymanprivatedrivers.com, taking airport transfer, tour and chauffeur quote requests for AA Transportation across Grand Cayman, from George Town and Seven Mile Beach to East End and Rum Point.
